The Rotary Club of Leesburg has completed a raffle to win a week at a 3-bedroom villa at Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, SC.  Proceeds from the raffle benefit the Perry Winston Scholarship Fund.  Reiner Leifhelm had the winning ticket and both Reiner and Anna looked very happy about winning!!

This raffle is a continuation of the Club's efforts to raise money for its Perry Winston Scholarship Fund, which annually awards two $10,000 scholarships to college-bound seniors from Heritage and Loudoun County High Schools.  Ticket sales were coordinated with the Club's 1st annual Cornwall Street Garden Tour. This April 18th event was held at the same time as the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival and was a success with more than 200 tours provided on a gorgeous Spring day.

Five historic homes in the Cornwall Street area opened their beautiful gardens to the public. Volunteers were at each home to provide background information on the historic home and the garden plantings. The Old Stone Church, the first property purchased for the Methodist Church in the U.S., was part of the tour.
