2012 Scholarships Awarded to Ryan and Reyes

Outstanding students Glelia Reyes and Ryan Taylor were awarded Rotary Club of Leesburg Perry Winston Scholarships on June 7th.  Many impressive applicants from area high schools competed for two $10,000 college scholarships. The students were joined at the meeting by prior year recipients Heidi Moats and Wanawsha Hawrami, who reside in the area. Almost sixty students have received the scholarships since the Fund was established in 1985 by several prominent local area citizens and Rotarians, including the late Perry Winston, a Leesburg banker.
