Below are a list of activities the Rotary Club of Leesburg supports and participates in.
New Generations (Youth Services)
- Heritage High Interact Club sponsor
- Interact participation in Leesburg Halloween parade
- Wreaths Across America at Arlington Cemetery (provided buses for Heritage Interact Club to participate)
- Perry Winston Scholarship to Leesburg area seniors
Vocational Activities
- Chamber of Commerce member - Rotary Club of Leesburg (RCLB) Foundation
- Local business leaders invited as club speakers
- One $2,500 annual scholarship Monroe Advanced Technical Academy (MATA)
Community and Club Service
- “Rotarians Helping Rotarians” – supporting our own Rotarian family (e.g., visits, yard work, transportation)
- Grace 2 Go for the hungry – hands on cooking event ~ 200 meals 6 x year
- Boulder Crest Retreat for vets and wounded warriors - hands on cooking 6x year for 25-40 people
- Road clean-up
- Law Camp picnic
- Annual Sticky Wickets Croquet Tournament & Lawn Party – estimate $15,000 proceeds to Foundation and charities
Rotary International Foundation and International Service
- Awarded Paul Harris Society Club banner; new PHFs and PHS members
- Rotary Foundation education meeting – once per year
- Zambia water project – ongoing
- Donate to Polio+ - quarterly
