Prestiguous Rotary Scholar Visits Club on Aug 23rd

Our recent speaker, Jessica Walker, was awarded the highly competitive Rotary Ambassadorial scholarship. She studied at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and continues to advance the Rotary Foundation's promotion of world understanding, goodwill, and peace.  Her other impressive credentials include an internship with the U.S. Committee for the United Nations Development Program; research assistant at the the Peace Institute; and numerous honors for her volunteer work at regional and state levels. She is with Deloitte Consulting LLP in Washington, DC, currently.  The Rotary Club is especially excited to welcome Jessica because of her strong roots in Loudoun County.
