Our October 12, 2017 speaker, Eric Williams has served as Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools, a school district of 90 schools serving approximately 81,600 students in northern Virginia since July 2014. Williams believes in engaging students in solving authentic problems as a means to developing as knowledgeable critical thinkers, communicators, collaborators, creators, and contributors. He promotes the joy of teaching and learning in lieu of a test-prep mentality. 
Williams served previously as superintendent in York County, Virginia and as an assistant superintendent and principal in Naples, Florida. He has also worked as a teacher and administrator in Massachusetts and Brazil.
